About Anse Marron

Anse Marron sits at the southernmost tip of La Digue. It is accessible only on foot. You must navigate an unmarked trail over rocks and ocean water.

The beach divides into two areas. The open ocean side is extremely dangerous. The protected natural pool is safe for swimming.

Guides manage the timing around the tides. They guide you safely through the Coastal Hiking Trail and into The Natural Pools.

Adventurous hike on rough terrain but worth every step. Gerard, the guide was incredibly wonderful. Lots of great info and very concerned about safety. Must be fit to enjoy.

It has been such a perfect and kind of adventurous day. Gerard told us a lot about the island and its nature and did a great job guiding us all the way. Everyone able to do so should definitely do this hike!
