The Natural Pools at Anse Marron

Massive granite boulders enclose waist-deep saltwater basins to create a safe swimming area.

Anse Marron is split between dangerous open-ocean currents and a protected natural pool. The large boulders form a physical barrier against the Indian Ocean, keeping the water inside calm and clear.

Swimming is strictly prohibited on the open-ocean side due to massive drop-offs and extreme currents. You must stay within the granite-protected area to swim safely.
